Freedom in the Arts Threatens Legal Action Against University of Leicester

In August 2025 FITA issued a legal letter to the University of Leicester requesting removal of the University’s Trans Inclusive Culture Guidance, published by the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries in September 2023; we believed the Guidance promoted unlawful conduct and was having a chilling effect in the sector.
